MOTHERS/GROUND is a project supporting Black mothers and Black families in the Bay Area, offering nourishment, resiliency, and safe spaces to alleviate and transform the effects of overpolicing, police brutality, and to encourage new forms of wellness and safety in our neighborhoods.
Each Black is Beautiful Beer, in collaboration with Laughing Monk Brewing, helps GROUND restore Black neighborhoods, beginning with Oakland and San Francisco, to create safe spaces for wellness, self care, and rejuvenation, beginning with MOTHERS/GROUND.
MOTHERS is a project of GROUND.org, an urban platform transforming long vacant lots buildings to restore Black wellness, sustenance, and neighborhood essentials in Black neighborhoods long subjected to a history of redlining, redevelopment, and police violence.
